Narrow Escape Duo is Roberta Pescow and Jim Baldessari, vocals and guitar covering vintage/retro standards, swing and jazz with some original tunes and a few surprises thrown in. They’re full-time musicians who’ve been performing in and around NJ since 1999 at private events as well as public venues including Investors Bank Theater, MPAC’s Performers on the Plaza, Cava Winery, Johanna’s Showtime Boutique and the 4-H Fair. They’ve also been featured on WNTI radio’s Artist’s Up Close and MorristownGreen.com.
Narrow Escape Duo has a unique sound that doesn’t fit established molds. Their musical interpretations are honest and organic, with a great deal of heart and their own personalities woven into each song.
